1.30-2.30 Dispossession: Simon Grennan
Venue: Comic Clocks Tower
Simon Grennan is an internationally-acclaimed contemporary artist, comic scholar and author of more than 40 comics and art books. Dispossession is his latest work. Based on a little-known novel by Anthony Trollope, it’s a virtuoso graphic novel by this master visual storyteller. Comic scholar John McShane interviews Simon about the inspiration behind his work and how he takes unique advantage of the graphic form to conjure the material world of the Victorian era.
