Tutor led demonstrations, discussion and example work will guide you through the process.
By the end of the course you will:
Have developed your mixed media skills using a wide variety of techniques and media enabling you to create a series of your own mixed media work.
Have become more aware of how contemporary designers and mixed media artists use collage and digital print in their work.
What do I need to bring with me?
All materials provided – but you are welcome to bring your own scissors, glue, brushes, papers and any art resources you enjoy using if you wish.
Activities may be messy so you may want to wear old clothes or bring an apron.

About the tutor
Nicki Smith is a community artist who works with all ages including children, young families and older people through a wide range of organisations. She specialises in encouraging participation and her projects are as varied as engaging with local classes to creating artwork that toured the U.S., and being part of the Northwest Cultural Olympiad.
