Creative Writing Masterclass: Write Yourself Funny!

Literature |
2nd March 2021 – 16th March 2021

16 March | 6.20 – 8pm | Age 16+ | Tutor Ann Grant

Whether you’re new to creative writing and fancy a laugh, or you’re a writer who would like to inject more humour into your work, this is the Masterclass for you! This event includes short and easy writing exercises along with time to share ideas and laugh together.

Using fun techniques and simple exercises, you can create your own comedy lines in a flash! Here’s a sneak peek of an exaggeration exercise explored in the session: “My friend is so organised if she was an object, she’d be a Filofax, if she was a celebrity she’d be Carol Vorderman, if she was food, she’d be a tray of sushi”. With guidance from Ann Grant, the possibilities (and laughs) are endless!
