About the course:
Do you love comedy? Do you ever wonder what it takes to be a comedian? Wondering how to come up with comedy material? Got a wedding speech to prepare? Have to give talks in the workplace? Maybe you just want to increase your confidence?
If yes, don’t miss out on this beginners’ comedy writing workshop with Jane Postlethwaite, Funny Women & Brighton Comedy Festival Award Finalist. Jane’s one woman show, ‘Made in Cumbria’ was nominated for two comedy awards in the Brighton Fringe and received rave reviews at Edinburgh Fringe. She was recently on the Radio 4 comedy drama, ‘Almost like being in love’ alongside Game of Thrones star Gemma Whelan.
Over two evenings, Jane will help you tap into your creativity, get inspiration and learn what makes a good joke. The workshop aims to help you become a confident writer and start thinking creatively. This may be the funniest five hours you have had all year.
