March-ing (sorry) into spring, Brewery Arts brings you another cracking comedy night featuring just the finest stand-up comedians from the UK comedy circuit.

March’s comedy delights are Sammy Dobson, Tegan Marlow, Jack Gleadow and Catherine Young!

Grab a pizza before the comedy begins! Place your order at our foyer bar or upstairs in the main bar. Tell us what you would like along with your table number and we will deliver it directly to your table. Pizza orders must be made before 7.40pm on the night!

Please note our Cabaret seating is set out in tables of 8 and are unreserved. Doors open at 7pm.

Catherine Young

Rising comedy star and winner of the Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year (2019), Catherine regularly absconds from Middlesbrough and the general misery of life, by running around the UK comedy circuit looking for anyone who will listen to her.

Tegan Marlow

Tegan Marlow has quickly taken the Northwest comedy circuit by storm with her witty anecdotes and wry observations of modern life, regularly performing alongside pro acts all over the North. She was nominated as Breakthrough Act in the 2022 Northwest Comedy Awards and was a semi finalist in the 2021 Funny Women Awards.

Sammy Dobson 

Sammy Dobson started her career at 14 in Byker Grove, and went on to appear in many BBC and ITV dramas and films including ‘I, Daniel Blake’. Her most recent TV credits include hit comedies such as ‘Boy Meets Girl’, and appearances in the first two series of Dave’s award-winning ‘Meet The Richardsons’.

Sammy tried stand-up comedy for a charity event a few years ago and now appears at a number of the country’s top venues, and has performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as in alternative pantomimes and sketch shows in her native Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. She recently appeared on BBC Radio 4 on Fred MacAulay’s ‘Fred at The Stand’.

Jack Gleadow

Jack Gleadow is an award-winning, one-man, comedy-variety show from Hull. His show includes sounds, funny stories, jokes, and sometimes even a scooter, and takes homage to the golden era of variety. Gleadow recently took home the prestigious title of the star-making competition, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (2018). Previous winners include Josh Widecombe, Jason Manford, Jonny Vegas & Romesh Ranganathan. Other recent awards under his belt include Great Yorkshire Fringe Comedian of the Year and Amused Moose National New Comic. This new rising star in comedy travels all over the UK to perform, including the Latitude Festival Comedy Stage and recent tour support for Lloyd Griffith.
