This month’s line-up includes Steve Gribbin, a diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool whose comedy songs and off the wall observations have made him one of the firm favourites of the comedy circuit.
MC for the night and the man responsible for keeping the laughs flowing is Bill Woolland a naturally funny man who provides observational humour delivered in a friendly chatty style. Quick witted, up to date, modern, he is quite simply very versatile and very funny.
Headlining is Mrs Barbara Nice is the comedy creation of star of Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights Janice Connolly. Barbara is your average Stockport housewife who given up the domestic bliss of Tupperware and Poundstretcher shops for the unpredictabilty of the comedy world.
Having recently supported Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay, Barbara was also a smash-hit at the last year’s Freerange Comedy Festival.
