Tutor – Iain Sloan
This two day workshop will explore how to make Collagraphs – a process in which materials are collaged onto a rigid substrate such as cardboard, wood, plastic or metal – and then printed.
Carborundum powder and other gritty materials can be used to create areas of tone and texture, allowing you to print strong, rich colour and to explore expressive brushwork and mark-making. Both of these techniques are very exciting to experiment with on their own and in combination.
