Following their sell out show last year we're delighted to welcome Cahalen Morrison and Eli West back to the Brewery.

Cahalen Morrison and Eli West are firmly established as one of the most important roots music duos to have emerged on the Americana circuit in recent years. They count many well-recognised names among their supporters including Chris Wood who included them in his Six Best Folk Acts list in an article for The Times.

Their last album (their third) was produced by Tim O’Brien who also nailed his colours to the mast, declared himself a fan and said that the pair “make music the world needs!” When they originally released their debut album in Europe, it met with instantaneous reaction, Bob Harris inviting them to record a studio session for his BBC Radio 2 show. They created a huge impact during their first ever UK tour and debut Celtic Connections Festival, and were subsequently invited back to Glasgow for their own headline show at the city’s Mitchell Theatre.

They’re back from their base in Seattle with a promise to keep fans happy with a selection of better-known material as well as new songs due to be featured on the next album at the end of 2016. In demand for major events on both sides of the Atlantic, they have appeared at prestigious gatherings such as Shetland Folk Festival and Merlefest.
