16th October 2016

Sunday 16th Oct 11.30am-12.30pm BAC Theatre

On an exclusive visit to the UK Canadian cartoonist and creator of the massively successful and popular Scott Pilgrim series reveals how he has conquered the comic art world with his honesty, humour and humanity illuminated by his manga-indebted, vibrant illustrations and, more recently, a wonderful use of colour.

Bryan’s most recent book is the Eisner-nominated Seconds and he is currently collaborating on the much-talked about new comic book series Snotgirl, a collaboration with Leslie Hung and published by Image whilst simultaneously working on his next major graphic novel. Bryan’s friend and former flatmate Christopher Butcher will explore Bryan’s incredible career to date and share thoughts on pop culture, the age of social media celebrity and the future of the comic art medium.
