CAT Outreach Workshop – Tuesday 26th April 5-7:30pm
Contemporary Dance and Brewery Youth Dance (Tuesday classes) will be taking part in a CAT Outreach Workshop (Centre for Advanced Training in Dance) in the first session of the summer term. We will be combining the groups for this workshop, which will mean that the time for your first class back will be different to usual. The workshop will run from 5-7:30pm on Tuesday 26th April, and will be an exciting opportunity to learn from a different Dance Artist. Please bring plenty of water and a snack to help fuel you for this longer session. After this week you will attend at the usual time for your 1.5hrs Brewery Youth dance class. To find out more about the Dance CAT scheme please visit https://www.nationaldancecats.co.uk/what-are-cats/
Please also note there are no classes during the week beginning 30 May.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
This group focuses on creating dance work for performance, which in the past has been performed many times on our own Brewery stage, as well as at other festivals and theatres locally, regionally and nationally. Our flagship youth dance group has kick-started the careers of many talented dancers.
If you’ve not attended a Brewery Youth Dance class before and would like to try the session out before committing to the term, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
What do I need to bring with me?
Please come ready to dance in comfortable clothes that you can move in, long hair should be tied back and jewellery removed. Bring your own water in a bottle.
Are there any additional costs?
