Carola Luther’s first 2 collections, Walking the Animals (2004) and Arguing with Malarchy (2011) were published by Carcanet Press. Herd, a pamphlet of poems was published in 2012 by The Wordsworth Trust. Walking the Animals was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for First Collection in 2004. Carola was Poet in Residence at the Wordsworth Trust in 2012. Carola also writes text and lyrics for theatre and mixed media productions.

Jennifer Copley lives in Barrow-in-Furness. She is the author of 3 full collections of poetry and several pamphlets, the latest of which, Being Haunted, was published by Cinnamon in February this year. Her work has appeared in The Rialto, The North, PN Review, the Independent on Sunday, the Forward Prize Anthology and GCSE Poetry Unseen revision papers. She has won prizes in several poetry competitions including 1st prizes in the Faber/Ottaker and the Mirehouse, 2nd prize in the Cardiff Academi, 3rd prize in the Bridport, shortlisted twice for the Strokestown Prize. U.A. Fanthorpe has described her work as ‘urgent, visceral, written out of a fierce commitment to truth’.

Elizabeth Hare was born and grew up in the south of England and moved north to Lancashire in 1980. After retiring from being a full-time academic she taught creative writing for the Open University for five years and now spends her time writing, doing voluntary work and gardening. Hare has published three pamphlets are Out of the Ordinary (self-published 2012) and Gardening with My Father 2015 (Grey Hen 2015) and most recentlyTestimony (Wayleave 2019) She has also published in poetry magazines and gives regular readings and workshops. She lives in Lancaster and is currently planning her first full collection.
