About the team

Film on the Brain is a film production company based in the North West, co-founded by Matthew Wood and Giuseppe Abba.

Giuseppe:

I’m a professional director and cinematographer. I pride myself on being able to tell personal stories through my work and building positive relationships with my clients. My background is in narrative film, having worked on several award-winning shorts as well as a web series.

I worked as a freelance camera operator and editor for a number of years before co-founding Film on the Brain.

Matthew:

Since I first picked up a camera I knew I wanted to create awe-inspiring content.

Through award-winning work, academic qualifications and years of experience, I have built up the skillset to do just that. Having co-founded Film on the Brain, I continue to push myself with every film we produce, always learning and developing.

I specialise in cinematography, directing, editing and compositing.
