In March 2019 we are creating a very special version of Brewery Schools Dance Platform to honour and celebrate the fantastic dance performances of the last 15 years. This event has grown and developed and is a highlight, for many, in the calendar. This event has seen over 10,020 dancers take the stage including performers from primary, secondary, colleges and special needs schools.
This unique event will include a performance of a new commission from Aboutime Dance Company. Their piece ‘Outside the Box’ explores the history of this event, using the back catalogue of performances as their starting point. The professional dancers will be running workshops in all the schools involved so that their work is the starting point for the schools dances in order to create a truly unique show.
The chance to be a part of something truly special, enabling young people to take to the stage alongside professional dancers.

All our ticket prices include a 50p commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
