BOB DYLAN & THE HISTORY OF ROCK’N’ROLL
An Evening With Writer Michael Gray
This is more 1-man-show than talk. Using great records and rare footage, the author of The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia and Song & Dance Man III traces how rock’n’roll arrived for teenager Robert Zimmerman, vanished into shallow pop by the time Dylan launched his folk career, and lured him back when he went electric and modernised rock music.
Michael Gray’s events are always witty, lively and inspiring.
Venue: Cinema
