Creative Learning |
1st November 2018

Tutor Sara Dennis | Fee £99 | 5 weeks

A contemporary twist on a traditional craft. A chance to further develop your skills in hand embroidery to create one large beetle image that can be transformed into a cushion or framed on your wall at home.

What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?

Over five weeks we will create a beautiful hand embroidered beetle – goldwork, silk shading and various surface stitches will be worked on white linen. As a completion to the five smaller beetles or as a stand-alone piece. Come and enjoy a couple of hours brushing up on your embroidery skills, the class is suitable for beginners or those with some experience.

What do I need to bring with me?

If you have a basic sewing kit bring it along, but everything you need will be provided.
Please bring a pen, notebook and your glasses, if you need them.

Are there any additional costs?

No, the cost of the course reflects the inclusion of all materials and equipment in the fee.
