The Brewery Arts Centre and Freerange Comedy festival present….
Stockport housewife with heart of gold Barabara Nice – that’s Barabara as in Streisand, Nice as in the biscuit – will be putting the world to rights over a Babycham or two at a special intimate gig at the Sticklebarn Tavern.
Barbara is the alter-ego of top Manchester comedian Janice Connolly who is familiar to millions as Holy Mary in Peter Kay’s smash hit Channel 4 comedy series Phoenix Nights.
Expect an ace evening of affectionate banter, singalongs and a fantastic celebration of life through the eyes of a middle-aged mum such as the infinite joys of nabbing a bargain at TK Maxx!
Venue: Sticklebarn Tavern, Great Langdale, Near Ambleside, Cumbria LA22 9JU
Age Rec: 10+
