Experience the magical collaboration of Sir Simon Rattle, Peter Sellars and a top- class cast of singers in the St John Passion broadcast live to cinemas in HD and 5.1 Surround Sound. Having staged Bach’s St John's Passion at the Salzburg Easter Festival, Peter Sellars will now bring Bach’s St John Passion to the Philharmonie and he comments: “It is not theatre. It is a prayer, a meditation.”  Sir Simon Rattle conducts the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Rundfunkchor Berlin and the soloist ensemble in this magnificent work.
