Join us for a full week of creative activities at Brewery Arts! There are dances to be choreographed, plays to be written and artworks to be created! This is the perfect outlet for young creatives with energy to spare.
Allow your imagination to run wild in this jam-packed week of dance and playful drama. It’s a chance to express yourself and make new friends! You’ll also create a performance to share with family and friends at the end of the week.
All young people will achieve a ‘Discover’ Arts Award and receive a certificate from Trinity College London as part of the week.

What do I need to bring with me?
A pack lunch and water bottle. Comfortable clothing suitable for movement e.g. joggers or leggings and t-shirt.

About the tutors
Community Engagement: Dance Associate: Emily Davies
A previous BYD member, Emily has been delivering sessions at The Brewery as well as other settings, since gaining her Dance degree in 2016. She enjoys sharing her love of dance with those she teaches. Emily’s style of movement is grounded in contemporary technique, creative dance and connecting with people, be that in the studio or with an audience.
Community Engagement: Theatre Associate: Emily Baxter
Once a member of Brewery Youth Theatre herself, Emily graduated from The Guildford School of Acting in 2018 and now enjoys sharing her skills and experience
in community theatre and dance sessions. Exploring drama techniques such as storytelling, improvisation, movement, devising original work, and developing scripts, are just a few things Emily likes to focus on through games and exercises in her sessions.
Visual Arts & Animation: Amy Williams Amy brings a wealth of experience within the field of art, craft and design. She is a professional artist having studied a BA (Hons) in Sculpture and an MA in Illustration. In her current practice, she works on large-scale commissions creating paper installations. She enjoys working with a diverse range of groups and developing creativity in others.

All our ticket prices include a 50p commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
