Tutor Jamie Barnes | Fee £55 | 1 session
Kendal is full of historic buildings packed with character which lend themselves to being drawn. Local artist-printmaker Jamie Barnes will lead you round his hometown of Kendal to you key sites of architectural interest ripe for sketching. From these sites he will guide you in sketching sessions which mix clean line drawing with the option of adding greyscale ink washes to add depth and interest.
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
The session will start with a brief introduction and display of examples.

By the end of the session you will have made several outdoor ‘ArchiSketches’ in your sketchbook which are alive with interesting details and textural washes.
