Saturday 15th Oct 3.00-4.30pm BAC Art Room 1
Aidan Koch is the William Blake of the “”comics as poetry”” school of thought in contemporary art. Ms. Koch's skill set has really never been seen before in the world of comic books. She has been one of the first contemporary cartoonists to “”crossover”” to literary magazines such The Paris Review. This Comics Workbook workshop will immerse the student in her unique approach to the medium of comic books – with a focus on using non-traditional media such as pastel, watercolor and egg tempera to create comics much like the mono-prints of the great William Blake. Frank Santoro will provide workshop support.
