Please note, this session is currently only open to existing Act Your Age members.
The Act Your Age theatre company will be working towards independent projects throughout the year with the support of Emily Baxter. You will be introduced to a range of different acting styles that will then be developed in company rehearsals.

This session is only open to existing Act Your Age participants. Please note there are no sessions during weeks beginning 25 October and 15 November.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please come ready in comfortable clothes that you can move in and bring your own water.

About the tutor
Engagement Officer for Theatre Emily Baxter was once a member of Brewery Youth Theatre. Emily graduated from The Guildford School of Acting in 2018 and now enjoys sharing her skills and experience in community theatre and dance sessions. Exploring drama techniques such as storytelling, improvisation, movement, devising original work, and developing scripts, are just a few things Emily likes to focus on through games and exercises in her sessions.

Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
