About the tutors
Chris Jones has been working as a professional actor since 2009. Career highlights include playing King George VI in the stage version of ‘The King’s Speech’ for Bill Kenwright, Treat in ‘Orphans’ at the English Theatre of Hamburg and Mr. Manningham in ‘Gaslight’ for Paul Taylor Mills. He often collaborates with Proper Job Theatre Company based in Huddersfield and has toured twice with them; Chris has also played the comic lead in several pantomimes over the years. Recently having moved to Kendal following his love of the Lake District, he is looking forward to sharing his experience with the local performers of all ages. Chris is a fully qualified teacher.

Once a member of Brewery Youth Theatre herself, Emily graduated from The Guildford School of Acting in 2018 and now enjoys sharing her skills and experience in community theatre and dance sessions. Exploring drama techniques such as storytelling, improvisation, movement, devising original work, and developing scripts, are just a few things Emily likes to focus on through games and exercises in her sessions.
