Walk: A walk in the rolling hills of the North Howgills

Duration: 6 hours plus travelling time
Distance / Ascent: 10miles/16km, 2600ft/793m
Grading: Strenuous
Description: This walk is set in in the rolling hills of the Northern Howgills, and offers fine views of the surrounding countryside.
From Wath the walk goes over the summits of Hooksey, Randygill Top, Green Bell, Knoutberry, Knott and Harter Fell to finish in Ravenstonedale village.
Meeting Place: The Peace Garden, Abbot Hall Park for a minibus to the start
Meeting Time: Friday 11th May at 9:20am for a 9:30am start
Leader / Organisation: Nigel Markham and John Edmondson / South Lakes Walking Club
Equipment: Walking boots, waterproof jacket, over trousers, a spare warm layer, hat, gloves, first aid kit, food and drink (ensure that you have adequate to drink if the weather is hot).
Dogs: Sorry – no dogs on this walk
