Walk: A walk from Windermere to Kendal

Distance / Ascent: 13miles/21km 1100ft/350m
Grading: Moderate / Strenuous
Description: This walk will start by taking the bus to Windermere from Kendal bus station. The first half of the walk will be along the Dales Way with a number of ascents and descents to the village of Staveley. Lunch will be taken in Staveley where there are refreshment possibilities. The route then continues along the Dales Way by the River Kent until the village of Burneside, where the Dales Way is left and the river followed into Kendal.
Meeting Place: Kendal Bus Station stand C (to be confirmed)
Meeting Time: Sunday 13th May at 9:30am for the 9:40am bus (to be confirmed)

Equipment: Walking boots and waterproofs. There will be a lunch break in Staveley, but drinks and snacks should be carried.
