Description: Probably missing from Wainwright’s “Outlying Fells of Lakeland” only because it is outside the National Park boundary the Helm provides a superb, easily accessible 360 degree panorama of the South Lakes and Kendal (weather permitting!). Possibly an ideal short excursion at the end of the Festival before a long journey home.
