Exhibitions

Introducing new exhibitions at The Brewery this Summer:

Sugar Store Gallery & Intro Bar Gallery:
Slug Society | (re) ALLOTTED | Fri 28 Jul - Fri 1 Sep

Slug Society are an artist’s collective based in Bolton who share an interest in allotments.

In this exhibition the artists will stage a partial take-over of the Brewery and install prints, paintings, textiles, sculpture and text which explore the social, political, community and environmental themes around allotments.

Warehouse Cafe:
Liam Collins | Audiotypes | Fri 28 Jul - Sun 1 Oct

Audiotype images are created using a unique photographic process; they are a combination of a long exposure portrait and a visualisation of a recording of the subject's speaking voice. The images contain more of the person than a traditional photographic portrait, they contain their voice and their mannerisms but captured in an abstract way.

All art is for sale.
Gallery opening times may vary on a daily basis and the Sugar Store gallery is closed on a Sunday.
Please contact the Box Office 01539 725133 to check before travelling.
