What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?

The course will be taught by a combination of theory, demonstration, group exercises and an assignment. It will be beneficial if you spend some time between lessons working on the techniques and your assignment.

What do I need to bring with me?

Equipment – Digital camera, instruction booklet, memory card.

Clothing – There are no special requirements but we will be doing some exercises outdoors so a suitable coat will be required.

Please bring a pen, notebook and your glasses, if you need them.

Are there any additional costs?

There is the option of printing of 3 images for approximately £10, payable directly to the tutor. The tutor will discuss this with students and is optional.

About the tutor

Eric is a photographer who likes to combine his love of the outdoors with a desire to produce something creative. He likes to try and convey something about the places in his images and does this with traditional landscape shots as well as more abstract ideas using camera movement and multiple exposures. As well as creating his own images, Eric now puts his years as a school teacher to good use teaching photography to groups, individuals and here at the Brewery. You can find out more about him and his work at www.ericpyephotography.co.uk or on Facebook as Eric Pye Photography.
