Our new menu is developing a bit of a buzz around the town. These rececent reviews from the Lancaster Guardian (Dec 2012) and the Westmorland Gazette (Sep 2012) gave the new Grainstore top marks. Come down and take a look for yourself.
Come and enjoy a great meal, created from the finest local produce, in the Grainstore at the Brewery Arts Centre.
With its relaxed bistro-like feel and friendly environment the Grainstore is a great place to be. Whether you are seeing friends, off to a show or simply popping in for an after work treat, it's a great place to eat, relax and socialise.
The unique surroundings reflect the atmosphere of this bustling arts centre and the fabulous menu, designed by our chef Gerrard Quinn, make this one of Kendal’s most popular places to eat.
Our menu at the Grainstore and Vats Bar allows you to create the meal that is right for you. Using great local produce, we have come up with a wide selection of smaller, flavour packed dishes which you can combine in any way you like.
You may want just one dish to go with a pint. You may want one plate as a starter and a combination of further dishes for your main course. You can create a banquet with friends, selecting a wide range of plates to arrive at your table at once. The choice is yours – just enjoy!
One of the great things about our menu, which features superb local and seasonal produce is that I will add new dishes from time to time. So the menu may vary, ever so slightly, from what's set out below.
