About Comedy at the Brewery
Throughout the year, the Brewery hosts an extensive programme of comedy performances ranging from solo stand-ups to sketch shows to musical comedy and more.
In 2011, we launched our Freerange Comedy Festival - a completely new venture for both Kendal and the South Lakes area. As well as performing here at the Brewery, comedians were sent out to enjoy adventurous activities in the great outdoors, as well as perfoming on mountain tops or out on the lakes themselves.
Freerange has pulled in some of the biggest names in the UK comedy scene including Al Murray and Jack Dee, Mark Thomas, Jeremy Hardy, Josie Long, Francesca Martinez, Kevin Day and Mark Watson.

FREERANGE COMEDY DATES 15 TO 25 MAY
The Brewery supports ‘Challenge 25’, if you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25 bar staff will ask for proof of age ID before serving you alcohol.
